Qatar Art in London

This is the first time Qatari artists will show collectively in London and we welcome you to our 5 week exhibition consisting of a variety of events, workshops, talks, screenings and tours for adults and children.

 

Reconnecting is a showcase of eighteen established and emerging Qatari artists and six filmmakers reflecting on the ways they connect with their identity, culture and surroundings in an era in which their country is constantly shifting.

What makes this exhibition unique is that the exhibition is not specifically about Qatar but FROM Qatar, about each artists experience, life & thoughts. We embrace that Qatari’s have different experiences & backgrounds. This exhibition celebrates this with the diverse work that is on display.

This Exhibition is presented by Reconnecting Arts, a platform that aims to support Middle Eastern creatives, regionally and internationally.

Location: P21 Gallery, London.
