We helped Franky Joe’s brand develop a clearer visual language and target their target audience with higher efficiency.
Franky Joe’s is a full-service, casual,family dine-in restaurant chain in Bahrain offering affordable and premium quality food with a unique atmosphere.
We were appointed to refresh their brand to be in line with the mission and vision of the business, and the key characteristics – Fun, Family and Quality.
The challenge was to create a brand that leans more towards a younger target audience (early-late teenagers) without alienating the current, loyal customer group of 20+.
The refresh was to be designed around promoting the existing logo.
We also had to deliver Franky Joe’s first ‘Signature Move’ concept for the brand – a game, gesture or performance that would make the Franky Joe’s experience even more unique.
We created an illustrated World of Franky Joe’s that invites visitors to its fun and friendly environment and promotes the brand as light-hearted and joyful. We worked closely with the client to create engaging games, cardboard cutouts and other collateral that lifts the brand and gives it a unique identity. As an addition, we added a splash of yellow to the brand palette and created a light blue sky with clouds pattern which perfectly compliments the happy, joyful identity.
